When I became single again Mike was there for me. I called needing a friend to talk too. I expressed my difficulties find a job that would pay enough to feed myself and four of my children. He asked me if I had $25.00 to buy a Purdy Paint Brush the biggest one I could get for my money. I said yes I could scrounge up $25.00. I got the money and we went to Home Depot and got my brand new Purdy Paint Brush that he wouldn't let me pay for. He said: "I just needed to know that you could scramble and make it happen to get the $25.00." From that moment on through the next 7 years we were partners as finish carpenters. He taught me so much and to this day I know I would not have survived without him by my side, showing me how to enjoy life and everything it had to through at me to take it in all stride. With love and laughs, God bless you Mike I owe you for making me who I am today. Our memories will always be with me.
