As a teacher at Riverview Middle School, I lost the diamond out of my wedding ring and Mr. Roy found out about it. Knowing that we would never be able to afford another one to replace it, I had to realize that it was only a material item and let it go...which was so hard to do!! Little did I know that the gentle giant would get on his hands and knees going through all of the trash in each classroom that night. The next morning, Mr. Roy met me with that wonderful grin holding a zip lock bag with my diamond in it!! Mr. Roy was definitely one of a kind. He was an example of a true Christian that will live forever in my heart!! It was a true honor to have worked along side of your loved one!!
