Charles Owen, 62, of Dawsonville passed away Wednesday July 10, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.
Mr. Owen was born January 26, 1951. A loving son and brother, he had been a resident of Dawsonville for most of his life.
Surviving are his mother, Ethel Garner, Dawsonville; father, Marvin Owen, Dawsonville; brother, Randall Owen, Dawsonville; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Friday July 12, 2013 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Chris Segars will officiate. Interment will follow in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 until 8 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to help offset final expenses.
