Hattie B. Kincaid, 91, of Dawsonville passed away Friday December 23, 2016 at Chestatee Regional Hospital following a period of declining health.
Born May 12, 1925 to the late Charlie and Hattie Elizabeth Chester, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. For many years Hattie worked in the poultry industry and was also formerly employed at K-Bar, the Dawson County Senior Center and worked as a caregiver. She was of the Baptist faith and was also preceded in death by her husband, Osborn Kincaid; grandson, David J. Chester; and several sisters and brothers.
Surviving are her sons, Floyd Chester, Cumming, Jimmy Kincaid, Dawsonville; grandson, Jeffrey Allen Chester, Cumming; great granddaughter, Jessica Marie Chester, Cumming; and a great great granddaughter, Penelope Jade Chester, Cumming.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday December 27, 2016 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ronnie Bennett will officiate. Interment will follow in the Goshen Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 2 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
