Obituary for Margaret Daniel Payne

Margaret Daniel  Payne
Margaret Daniel Payne, 70, of Dawsonville passed away Wednesday February 4, 2015 at Embracing Hospice following a period of declining health.
Born February 3, 1945 to the late Howard and Edith Reeves, she lived all her life in the Dawson County area. A homemaker at her death, Margaret enjoyed the outdoors and loved her family. She was a member of Goshen Baptist Church and was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Payne; son, Johnny Daniel; sister, Marie Beck; and brothers, David Reeves and Ernest Reeves.
Surviving are her daughters and son in law, Sandra Gilleland, Dawsonville, Karen and Boy Chester, Dawsonville; grandchildren, Shawna Daniel, Cory and Cherish Gilleland, Kevin Gilleland, Alan and Lauren Gilleland, Colton Chester, Brody Chester; five great grandchildren; sisters and brothers in law, Meretta and Dean Thompson, Brevard, NC, Ethel Samples, Dawsonville, Glenda and David Collins, Gainesville, Kathy and Johnny Burt, Dawsonville; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Saturday February 7, 2015 at 3 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Cory Gilleland and Rev. Dean Thompson will officiate. Interment will follow in the Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday from 3:30 until 8 at the funeral home.
