Condolences

Condolence From: Rick Ingram
Condolence: I went to high school with Glen and we rode the same bus. I always remember his laugh and love of a good joke and telling a good story. I'm sad to hear of his passing. My thoughts are with his family.

Condolence From: Mike and Nolan Geraghty
Condolence: My seven year old son and I have been going to Glen for haircuts since he reopened in Dawsonville. He shared wisdom and stories with us that only a life well lived could reveal. We looked forward to our visit every month and didn’t mind if there was a wait because we could play checkers (Nolan always won) and slow down for a bit in this all too fast-paced world. I was saddened by the unexpected news but did not hesitate to tell Nolan at bedtime tonight. We both tried to act tough but shed more than a tear or two. It was one of those moments in life that makes you stop and really think about what it all means; the meaning of life, relationships, love, loss, and even haircuts. Nolan and I were lucky to have crossed paths with such a great person and hopefully our lives will reflect the experience.

Our condolences to your family.

Condolence: Glenn was my barber. I always looked forward to going to his shop eating the peanuts and waiting my turn in his chair. Have not had my neck shaved with my hair cut since he closed. He invited me several times to his big cook out but I never made it.
I saw him a few weeks ago at CVS.Please accept my sympathies and prayers during this untimely loss of a good man.

Condolence: Our prayers are with Glen's family. We will remember his barbecues, his ever-ready pot of beans, his fruit cobblers. Glen was a master craftsman who took pride in his work. Whatever he undertook, when it was finished, it was right - no question.

Goodbye to the best of neighbors, always ready to lend a hand. We miss you.
