Oliver “Ollie” Richard Wooden, 44, of Dawsonville passed away Sunday May 19, 2013 at his residence following a period of declining health.
Born October 20, 1968 in Baltimore, MD, he had been a resident of Dawsonville for the past nine years. Mr. Wooden owned and operated Slim and Trim Landscaping in Dawsonville and had also worked with Gould Billiards.
Surviving are his wife, Kelly D. Mezick, Dawsonville; children, Charlotte R. Wooden, Tristan B. Mezick, Daniel McCoy; mother, Anna R. Wooden, Maryland; brothers, Edgar Wooden, Maryland, Michael Wooden, Maryland; 3 grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 5 o’clock in Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Emmanueal Loggins and Tonia Loggins will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 o’clock until the service hour.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to help offset final expenses.
