Obituary for Lynn Nahlik

Lynn Nahlik, 62, of Dawsonville passed away Saturday September 22, 2018 at her residence following a sudden illness.
Born July 27, 1956 to the late Lyman and Bronscile “Tommie” Bennett, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. A 1974 honor graduate of Dawson County High School she also graduated from Gainesville Junior College. Lynn was employed as a paralegal for Polatty & Sullivan attorneys for 44 years. Since her teenage years she served as the organist at Bethel United Methodist Church and was the organist at Lumpkin Campground. She loved to travel, going to Bible Study, and spending time with her family and friends. Most of all she loved being a Grandma. Lynn was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and was also preceded in death by her sister, Marla Lemley.
Surviving are her children, Brandon and Stacey Nahlik, Kaycee and Noah Hayes, both of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Abel Nahlik, Coralyn Nahlik; a number of other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday September 25, 2018 at 11 o’clock at Bethel United Methodist Church. Dr. David Sanders will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday from 4 until 8 at the funeral home.
