Obituary for James "Terry" Ragan

James "Terry"  Ragan
James "Terry" Ragan, 70, of Dawsonville, GA passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018 at Northside Hospital Forsyth, Cumming, GA. He was a born to the late James "Red" and Ruth Ragan. Terry resided in Dawsonville for the past 18 years and was a avid Nascar fan and was very involved with the Dawsonville Moonshine Festival. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his brother in law, Doug Farmer.

He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Ragan of Dawsonville, GA; daughters and sons in law, Kelly and Donald "Duke" Porter of Dawsonville, GA, Kristy and Matthew Anderson of Dallas, GA, Wendy and Bryan Voiles of Tunnel Hill, GA; son and daughter in law, Jason and Lindsey Reed of Hixon, TN; grandchildren, Devin, T.J., Chathan, Maddox, Corbin, Danille, Hunter, Spencer, Morgan, Fletcher, Owen; great grandchild, Henley; sister, Linda Farmer of Blairsville, GA; nephew, Alan and Tonya Hawk of Blairsville, GA.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel, Dawsonville, GA with the Rev. Doug Couch and Joel Gibbs officiating. Interment will follow the funeral at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens, Mableton, GA.

The family will receive friends on Monday, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
