David Allen Welch, 56, Dawsonville, GA passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville, GA. He was a member of the Cornerstone Christian Church, Dawsonville, GA where he served as a Elder of the Church. David was a loving husband and father who loved helping others, sailing and a special affection for stray cats. He was an exceptional pizza cook and even had one of his specialty pizzas featured in a Kansas Pizzeria.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Nelson Welch.

David is survived by his loving wife, Stacie Welch of Dawsonville, GA; children, Brianna Welch and Ian Welch both of Dawsonville, GA; mother, Mary Bowen Welch of Overland Park, KS; sisters, Margie Gallaway of Overland Park, KS, Christie Wells of St. Paul, MN; 3 nieces and 3 nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. at the Cornerstone Christian Church, Dawsonville, GA.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until service time at the church.
