Condolence: So sad our cousin Steve has left this world. He brightened my day so many times with letters and jokes about his travels. He was wealth of information. I will always remember him fondly. Mary Stiles Johnson

Condolence: I was stationed with Steve in Munich, Germany and we became good friends. We had some fun times together and Steve was a very stand up kind of person. He was always ready to help anyone he could. RIP my Brother and friend.

Condolence: Steve was always a very intelligent person.
Although he seemed like a walking encyclopedia at
times, which could be intimidating, he would use his quick wit to, in an instant, change the moment from serious to jovial. Clay & I visited with him at Emory after the accident and observed his steadfast determination to recover as fully as he possibly could. He was amazing and Clay and I felt Blessed to have him as our friend. May he and Clay now be reviving an old friendship in their heavenly home. Anne, my sincere condolences to you. God Bless You.
