Larry Gene Brock, 57, of Dawsonville passed away Saturday February 10, 2018.
Born January 20, 1961 in Hall County, he had lived in Dawson County since 1973 having moved from Flowery Branch. Mr. Brock formerly worked as a supervisor for World Wide Manufacturing. He enjoyed hunting and was an avid supporter of the military and veterans. A member of Blackshire Place Baptist Church, Larry was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Glen Brock; and his father, Oliver Brock.
Surviving are his fiancé, Lecia Gooch, Dawsonville; daughter and son in law, Tamisha and Weldon Pittman, Mineral Bluff; son, Joshua Brock, Dawsonville; granddaughters, Emma Jo Pittman, Emily Jade Pittman; mother, Mildred Brock, Dawsonville; sister and brother in law, Glenda and Russell Gazaway, Gainesville; brother, Johnny Brock, Dawsonville; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday February 13, 2018 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tony Holtzclaw will officiate. Interment will follow in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday from 4 until 8 at the funeral home.
