Condolences

Condolence From: Jon Reese
Condolence: It was more years than we could count when Tom called me to participate in a Bloomsburg fundraiser. When I heard his name, a flood of memories returned; the most famous being a two car trip to an East Stroudsburg football game. We took time to remember the trip and the Jaguar, and good times rolled again. Tom is special and I am appreciative of the role he played in so many lives. Blessings to the family. My number 908-735-7231.

Condolence: Tom, a loyal alumnus, will be missed by his Bloomsburg University classmates, as he was one of the mainstays of our Class of 1962 reunions -- he never missed one. I will personally miss Tom as we were teammates (basketball) and roommates at Bloomsburg. May he rest in peace.

Condolence: Tom was a model of what a dedicated, hard-working, loving man should be. He loved his country, his family and his friends. Through his leadership, he helped educate scores and scores of young people through his working years and into his retirement. We are all better from having known Tom and been around such a positive person. He cared for others.

Condolence: Tom was a great guy and a dear cousin. He will be missed. I will always remember his kindness, his enthusiasm for work and play, and his sense of humor. I will plant a beautiful, colorful hydrangea in my yard in New York in his memory next to the Red Maple I planted for our Aunt Joan. Love and sympathy to all who knew him.

Condolence: All of us at Computer Curriculum Corporation during Tom's years remember his strong and effective leadership of the Southeast Office based in Atlanta. This region was critical to CCC's success, and Tom always delivered. The Product Development team was always very appreciative for Tom's clear statements about customer requirements; when Tom spoke, we listened. He is remembered. We express our condolences to Tom's family and friends.

Condolence: We send our thoughts and prayers to all of Tom's family. He was a kind and gentle soul and loved his family so much! He was also a great friend and a true patriot. He truly loved his community and country, and spent many an hour working towards the ideals of the Democratic Party. He was especially concerned about the young people who didn't finish high school and so we began to give a scholarship yearly to READ to help defray the cost of taking the GED Test. We will rename this scholarship in his honor--The Tom Foley Memorial GED Scholarship and we will continue to award this every year to the READ program. We will miss him!!
