Charles E. Leachman, 91, of Dawsonville, GA passed away Wednesday January 24, 2017 following a period of declining health.
Born February 15, 1926, Charles had been a resident of Dawsonville for the past 12 years after spending most of his life in Birmingham, AL. A retired U.S. Air Force veteran, he served during World War II. After his military service he also worked with EBSCO Industries for over 20 years until his retirement. Mr. Leachman was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Leachman and son-in-law, Gunny Moore.
Surviving are his children, Chuck Leachman, Palm Springs, CA, Linda Moore, Dawsonville, GA; grandchildren, Stephen and Katie Leachman, Birmingham, AL; two great-grandchildren; other relatives.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday January 30, 2018 at Southern Heritage Cemetery in Pelham, Alabama.
