I am honored to have had Coach Lacey coach both of my boys. He drafted Samuel from football to play goalie, he believed in him. Samuel had never even played soccer before, but he went out there with confidence and did great. He got the late night phone calls from coach talking about soccer and strategy for the game. Always getting out of his regular classes to go to Coaches class. Nicholas at the time was 10, but he was ball boy for the football team and then also found himself on the sidelines of the soccer games too. Once Nicholas got to high school he had that same relationship with coach. He was always in his room, skipping his regular classes. Always talking strategy about soccer and upcoming games. Coach has been a blessing to my family and will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
