Obituary for Pauline S. Ivey

Pauline S.  Ivey
Pauline Ivey, 97, of Cumming passed away Thursday April 3, 2014 at Embracing Hospice following a short illness.
Born January 17, 1917 to the late E. H. “Sug” and Annie Belle Stephens, she lived most of her life in Dawson County before moving to Cumming 12 years ago. Mrs. Ivey was a homemaker and a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Weldon Ivey; daughter, Frances Ivey; and son, Donald Ivey.
Surviving are her nieces, nephews, other relatives and her caregivers, Inez Mathis, Anna Lewis, and Betty Anne Bagley.
Funeral services will be held Saturday April 5, 2014 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bottoms will officiate. Interment will follow in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday from 5 until 8 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Embracing Hospice, 8013 Majors Road, Cumming, GA 30041.
