Charles B. “Charlie” Young, 59, of Dawsonville passed away Tuesday October 2, 2012 at his residence following a sudden illness.
Born September 29, 1953 in Espanola, New Mexico to the late Broughton and Mary Frances Young, he lived most of his life in Dawson County. Mr. Young was formerly employed by Gilleland Construction and was of the Baptist faith. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Howard Young.
Surviving are his daughter, Jessica Young, Marlborough, Mass; sisters and brothers in law, Barbara Lawson, Dawsonville, Shirley and Buddy Lee, Dawsonville, Sarah and Leo Rohland, Woodstock; brothers and sister in law, Randall and Trina Young, Talking Rock, GA, David Young, Dawsonville; and a number of other relatives.
Memorial services will be held Friday October 5, 2012 at 7 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dean Pugh and Rev. Randall Woody will officiate.
The family will receive friends Friday from 3 o’clock until the service hour.
