Obituary for Howard Young

Howard  Young
Howard Young, 72, of Martin, Georgia passed away Wednesday July 11, 2012 following a period of declining health.
Born August 11, 1939 in Dawson County to the late Broughton and Edna Tinsley Young, he had lived in Martin for the past six years having moved from Gwinnett County. Mr. Young was a retired commercial construction supervisor. His passions in life included gardening, fishing, fast cars and western movies. He was also preceded in death by his aunt, Frances Mulkey.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Jane Young, Martin, GA; children, Ricky and Sandee Cosper, Chattahoochee Hills, Tanya Honeycutt, Los Angeles, Calif., Keith and Chelley Young, Watkinsville; sisters and brother in law, Barbara Lawson, Dawsonville, Shirley and Buddy Lee, Dawsonville; brothers and sister in law, Randall and Torina Young, Jasper, Charles Young, Dawsonville, David Young, Dawsonville; grandchildren, Michael Cosper, Kevin Cosper, Montana Honeycutt, Maxwell Young, Taylor Young; and great grandson, Colton Honeycutt.
Funeral services will be held Saturday July 14, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Hugh Fields will officiate. Interment will follow in the Tinsley Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 9 at the funeral home.
