Frank E.  Manning
Frank E. Manning, 72, of Dawsonville passed away Thursday April 26, 2018 at his residence following a period of declining health.
Born January 19, 1946, Mr. Manning had been a resident of Dawsonville for over 25 years. A loving husband, father and friend, he was a man of God and a rock for his family. Frank retired from General Motors after 30 years of service and served as a deacon at Trinity Baptist Church in Dawsonville. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia “Annette” Manning, son, Jeffrey Scott Manning, parents, Frank Manning and Dimple Manning Carter, sister, Patsy Kidd and brother, Hoyt Manning.
Surviving are his daughter and son in law, Jennifer and Jon Spangler of Braselton; daughter in law, Debbie Manning of Worton, MD, grandchildren, Keith French, Ryan Manning, Jack Manning, Kristin French and Jensen Brock, Katie French, Skylar Spangler; brother, David Manning of Forsyth; sisters in law and brothers in law, Victoria and Steve Brumbelow of Dawsonville, Susan and Joe Chadwick of Snellville, Angela Manning of Jonesboro; other relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday April 29, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Christopher and Rev. Josh Mulkey officiating. Interment will follow in Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday April 28 from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m.
