James L. “Jim” Bearden, 71, of Clayton, Georgia passed away January 23, 2018.
Born August 28, 1946 in Forsyth County to the late Silvey and Belle Bearden, he lived in Forsyth and Lumpkin Counties prior to moving to Clayton. Jim worked as a real estate agent and developer. He was a U. S. Army veteran of Vietnam and was an accomplished artist with a passion for painting.
Surviving are his son, Christopher Bearden, Marietta; brother, John Douglas Bearden, Myrtle Beach, SC; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday May 1, 2018 at 1 o’clock at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Leonard W. Ridings will officiate.
