Obituary for Donna Stamey

Donna  Stamey
Donna Stamey, 71, of Dawsonville passed away Wednesday January 10, 2018 at Seasons Hospice following a period of declining health.
Born September 15, 1946 in Hall County to the late Donald and Estelle Redmond, she had lived in Dawson County for the past 35 years. Mrs. Stamey was formerly employed at Sweet-Orr after which she worked for Clipper Petroleum where she managed the Circle M in Dawsonville for several years. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Tanner.
Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Brent Stamey, Dawsonville; children, Lynn and Billy Rucker, Gainesville, B. J. Jackson, Kissimmee, FL, Carrie S. Bradahal, Statham, GA; four grandchildren; sisters, Janice Head, Gainesville, Billie Walden, Gainesville; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Saturday January 13, 2018 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mike Owens will officiate. Interment will follow in Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Friday from 5 until 8 at the funeral home.
