Michael E. McCue, 63, of Dawsonville passed away Sunday December 17, 2017 at Northside Forsyth Hospital.
Born June 30, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri, he had lived in Dawson County for the past 13 years. During Mr. McCue’s working life he worked as an electrician and machine maintenance mechanic. Michael was a U. S. Army veteran of Viet Nam, was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church and the Dawson County Chapter of the Vietnam Veterans Association # 970. He was an avid golfer, coin collector and was preceded in death by his father, Ronald McCue.
Surviving are his wife of 21 years, Nancy McCue, Dawsonville; son and daughter in law, Kevin Michael and Brittany McCue, Texas; grandsons, Jacob and Adrian; mother, Marie Carson, Idaho; brother, Stephen McCue, Germany; sisters, Diana McCue, Cumming, Suzanne Stelle, California, Barbara Cava, Idaho, Billie Sue McCue, Washington; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday December 20, 2017 at 11 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. David Jordan will officiate.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 until 8 at the funeral home.
