Larry J. Thomas, 73, of Dawsonville passed away Thursday October 26, 2017 at Northside Forsyth Hospital following a brief illness.
Mr. Thomas was born April 30, 1944 in Copperhill, Tennessee. He had been a resident of Dawson County for 12 years coming from Roswell, Georgia. A U.S. Army veteran, he retired from Pretrial Services, Superior Court of Fulton County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Virda Lee Thomas and sister, Sandra Dunn.
Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Shirley Thomas of Dawsonville and a number of other relatives.
The family is planning private memorial services.
