Obituary for CJ Sage

CJ Sage
CJ Sage, 49, of Dawsonville passed away Thursday July 13, 2017 following a sudden illness.
Born February 26, 1968, CJ had been a resident of Dawsonville for 24 years. CJ loved his family and leaves behind his beloved wife of 28 years, Sally Sage, daughter, Shelby Sage, 23, is a biology major at UNG, and son, Josh Sage, 20, is a criminal justice major at UNG. He was profoundly proud of his children. He loved to hunt, fish, piddle in his man cave and drive his car, but his biggest love (besides his family) was his gun collection. There was always room for just one more!!! He supported our Constitution and its amendments. He was a pet lover who always had multiple animals. The family home is nicknamed “The Sage Zoo”! He is also survived by three Shih Tzus, one Great Pyrenees puppy, two cats, two chinchillas and a Tegu (look that one up). His home was the magazine capital of the country! He loved seafood, BBQ and a good old burger from Jonathon’s restaurant! There are so many stories that we can tell and we hope you will share yours with us. The family e-mail address is barrettsage@yahoo.com. Thanks for your love and friendship.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 18, 2017 at 3 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Chad Rogers will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday July 17 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Tuesday July 18 from 12 p.m. until the service hour.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Camp Sunshine to aid Georgia’s children with cancer. www.mycampsunshine.com.
Condolences may be expressed at www.beardenfuneralhome.com.
