Franklin “Del” Richardson, 56, of Dawsonville passed away Wednesday July 5, 2017 at his residence.
Born September 23, 1960 in Savannah, Mr. Richardson had been a resident of Dawson County for over 30 years. A member of Shepherd’s Chapel, he studied his Bible daily. Del worked at AIG in Alpharetta until his retirement, loved his family and friends and enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Atlanta Braves. He is preceded in death by his mother, Martha Richardson; granddaughter, Madilynn Harris; beloved K9 companion, Speedy.
Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Christine Richardson, Dawsonville; daughters and sons in law, Jessica and Brian Adams, Dawsonville, Amanda and Greg McCallister, Demorest; father and step-mother, Ed and Barbara Richardson, Buford; sister, Gail Anderson, Winder; brother and sister in law, Eddie and Sherry Richardson, Panama City, FL; grandchildren, Seth Adams, Cade Adams, Angeleah Harris, Kaitlyn McCallister, Dylan McCallister; niece, Heather Wilson, Winder; nephew, George Triplett, Loganville; a number of other relatives and K9 companions, Prissy and Bella.
The family is planning memorial services at a later date.
