Teresa Johnston, 66, of Dawsonville passed away Wednesday June 14, 2017 at Dogwood Forest Assisted Living following a period of declining health.
Born June 13, 1951 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late Michael and Helen Harrell Rongo, she lived many years in Smyrna and Sandy Springs before moving to Dawson County 16 years ago. Mrs. Johnston formerly owned Travel Management, Inc., Designer Resources International and Gotta Eat!, a food service company. She was a member of the Church of the Apostles and was also preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Charles M. “Charlie” Johnston.
Surviving are her sister and brother in law, Toni and Lee Winters, Atlanta; brother and sister in law, Dennis and Deborah Rongo, Knoxville, TN; and a number of other relatives.
Memorial services will be held Saturday June 24, 2017 at 11 o’clock at the Church of the Apostles in Dawsonville. Rev. J. P. Morris will officiate.
There will be a reception following the memorial service at the church.
