Obituary for Charles James Siburt

Charles James Siburt, 87, of Dawsonville, GA, formerly of Wellsburg, WV, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday June 10, 2017 with his family by his side.
Born January 30 1930 in McMechen, WV to the late Thomas and Mary Carter Siburt, he had lived in Dawsonville for the past nine years. Mr. Siburt retired as a supervisor for Weirton Steel and was a U. S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Wellsburg Masonic Lodge # 2 AF&AM, was of the Methodist faith and was also preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Dawn McBee Siburt, Dawsonville; children, J. Keith and Martha Siburt, Maryland, Juanita and Danny Scarborough, Dawsonville, GA, Deborah and David Smith, Wellsburg, WV; granddaughters, Brittany (Daniel) Porter, Lea (Cody) Chambers, Jacki Scarborough; and four great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the Franklin United Methodist Church in Wellsburg, WV at a later date.
