HIGH STANDARDS & RACQUETBALL

MARY ANN & FAMILY,

I  HAD  THE  PLEASURE  OF  KNOWING  PAUL  WAY  BACK,  AT  LEAST  IN THE '80s  OR '90s.  I

CAN'T  REMEMBER  IF  I  KNEW  HIM  FROM  DELTA  FIRST  OR  FROM  RACQUETBALL  AT  OUR  OLD  "SPORTSLIFE"  GYM  OR  PERHAPS  ONE  EVEN  EARLIER  AT  INTERSTATE  NORTH  OR

LOWER  ROSWELL.

PAUL  WAS  GREAT  TO  COMPETE  AGAINST,  ALWAYS  BEING  VERY  CREATIVE  IN  HIS  GAME.    HE  WAS  A  WELCOME  GUEST  IN  OUR  HOME.

WHEN  WE  SWITCHED  OVER  TO  THE  SPORTING  CLUB  AT  WINDY  HILL,  I  WAS  SAD

WHEN  HE  DID  NOT  JOIN  THE  MANY  PLAYERS  THAT  CAME  OVER.    BUT,  HE  SAID  SOMETHING  THAT  HAS  ALWAYS  STUCK  WITH  ME.    HE  SAID,  "YOU  KNOW  WALLY,  THERE

ARE  JUST  TOO  MANY  VERY  EXPENSIVE  CARS  IN  THIS  PARKING  LOT;   I  WOULDN'T  FEEL

COMFORTABLE  HERE".    HE  IMPRESSED  ME  AS  HAVING  MY  SAME  CONSERVATIVE  &

DOWN  TO  EARTH  VALUES  AS  MYSELF.    IT  WAS  THE  PLEASURE  OF  MY  WIFE  &  I,  TO  HAVE  KNOWN  HIM.

MAY  THE  LOVE  OF  GOD  &  THE  PEACE  OF  CHRIST,  BE  OF  GREAT  COMFORT  TO  YOU  &  YOUR  FAMILY,

SINCERELY,

WALLY  PETERSEN
