Meeting Anita
One day, several years ago, I was working in Home Health in Cumming Ga. I get a phone call from work, telling me that I will need to train a new employee the next day, and would need to take her with me for the day. I drove to pick this person up in the morning . When I got to the house, out comes Anita. A bubbley blond happy lady. We immedialty clicked !! We had the best work day ever. We worked together so well, shared so many stories , and she even stayed with me after I had some minor surgery. Our company opened an office in Dalonega , and Anita said she wanted to transfer to that office. She said she did not want to go without me, and begged me to go with her , so I did. I am glad I did.
We eventually moved away to St. Thomas . Vi , and Anita and Tim spent a whole week with us. We had a blast. She was so happy playing in the ocean , and taking pictures. .
She asked me when the best time to visit was, and I told her November. Bad idea, because it was hurricane season. A hurricane was lurking. She said " Patricia, I am coming to visit you, and we are going to get blown away by a hurricane. I can't believe this !" Luckily , we had a few pretty days of sunshine .
Anita was a special soul , Great Nurse, a wonderful friend.
I miss her terribly.
I love you Anita.
