Obituary for James L. "Jim" Caporal

James L. “Jim” Caporal, 69, of Dawsonville passed away Wednesday March 8, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a period of declining health.
Born May 24, 1947 to the late Anthony and Helen Caporal, he had lived in Dawson County for the past 33 years having moved from Pittsburgh, PA. Jim was a retired residential contractor and was of the Catholic faith. A loving father and grandfather, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Victoria J. “Vicki” Caporal.
Surviving are his children, Anthony Richard and Edna Caporal, Jacksonville, FL, Colleen Caporal, Johns Creek, GA, Jimmy and Jessica Caporal, Dawsonville; ten grandchildren, a great granddaughter; sisters, Marian and Jane; and a brother, Richard.
The family is planning private memorial services.
