Jeanette Nollenberger, 83, of Dawsonville passed away Wednesday February 22, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a period of declining health.
Born December 5, 1933 to the late Aldo and Etta Jeffers, she had been a resident of Dawsonville for the past 8 years coming from Flowery Branch. A devoted and loving mother and grandmother, Jeanette was a devout Christian and wonderful cook who enjoyed spending time and especially holidays with her family. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Jeff Jeffers.
Surviving are her children, Candee and Tommy Matera, Dawsonville, William “Bill” Nollenberger, Flowery Branch, Kimberly and Robert Thompson, Dawsonville; sister, Wanda Steele, Gallipolis, OH; grandchildren, Tiffany Fletcher, Taylor Thompson, Cassandra “Cassy” Nollenberger, William “Will” Nollenberger; great grandchildren, Aleigha Shifflett, Nathaniel Shifflet, Mikayla Nollenberger; a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Graveside services will be held Saturday February 25, 2017 at 11 AM at Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 PM until 8 PM on Friday.
