Obituary for Lee Ayers

Lee  Ayers
Lee Ayers, 66, of Dawsonville passed away Tuesday February 14, 2017 at his residence.
Born February 25, 1950, he was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. Lee owned and operated Amen Automotive and he formerly served as pastor of Crystal Springs Church of God of Prophecy in Cherokee County and The Winder Church of God of Prophecy. Lee was a U. S. Army veteran where he served in the Green Berets and was very devoted to his family and serving the Lord. He was a member of Winds of Peace Fellowship and was preceded in death by his father, Walter Lee Ayers, Sr.; and a grandson, Abram Ayers.
Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Wanda Ayers, Dawsonville; children, Josh and Dori Ayers, Sonshine Ayers, Caleb and Charla Ayers, all of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Beckham Ayers, Eliana Ayers; mother, Etta Ayers, Dawsonville; sisters, Frances Lester, Dawsonville, Shirley Hulett, Dawsonville, Joyce Waters, Cleveland; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Thursday February 16, 2017 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tommy Panter, Rev. James Kanady, and Rev. Jason Hamby will officiate.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1 until 8 at the funeral home.
