Laura Long, 31, of Dawsonville passed away Friday February 10, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born June 21, 1985, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County and a 2003 graduate of Dawson County High School. Laura possessed a special love for animals. She was preceded in death by her father, James Long, Jr.
Surviving are her mother, Sandy Long, Dawsonville; aunt, Beth Marshall, Hartville, Missouri; cousins, Christopher Oliver, San Diego, California, Jason Caudy, Springfield, Missouri; best friend, Stacey Stephenson Bailey, Navarre, Florida; and special friend, Melissa Edge.
A farewell ceremony was held at McKees Chapel United Methodist Church.
