Obituary for Britney Nicole Cardenas

Britney Nicole  Cardenas
Britney Nicole Cardenas, 28, of Dawsonville passed away Friday November 11, 2016 at Northside Forsyth Hospital following a short illness.
Born July 19, 1988, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. Britney was a 2006 graduate of Dawson County High School and was a 2010 graduate of North Georgia College where she earned a degree in early childhood education. She was currently employed with the Head Start Program in Dawson County. Britney always tried to help every child she came into contact with and enjoyed scrapbooking and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of Tickanetley Primitive Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Jose Cardenas, Dawsonville; stepchildren, Caden Cardenas, Cleveland, Amber Cardenas, Cleveland; mother and stepfather, Candie and Wendell Parkey, Dahlonega; father, Donald Bearden, Dahlonega; grandparents, J. B. and Polly Bearden, Dahlonega, Jenell and Robert Pruett, Dawsonville; brothers, Shawne Bearden, Cumming, Corey Henry, Dahlonega, Tyler Bearden, Ellijay; father in law and mother in law, Jose Luis and Sandra Cardenas, Murrayville; sister in law, Chelsea Cardenas, Murrayville; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Monday November 14, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Elder Paul Mooney and Rev. Troy Milford will officiate. Interment will follow in the Tickanetley Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Gilmer County.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 until 8 and Sunday from 4 until 8 at the funeral home.
