Obituary for Tristen Kevin Donovan

Tristen Kevin  Donovan
Tristen Kevin Donovan, 16, of Dawsonville passed away Saturday June 18, 2016.
Born January 23, 2000, he had been a resident of Dawson County for most of his life. Tristen was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church and had been involved with the JROTC at Dawson County High School for the past two years. He loved being outside and was also an avid musician who had been a member of the marching band since sixth grade and recently joined the concert band. He was preceded in death by a great grandmother, Joan Donovan and grandfather, Stoney Simmons.
Surviving are his father and mother, Sean and Rebekah Donovan, Dawsonville; grandparents, Kevin and Gail Donovan, Dawsonville, Melba Simmons, Dawsonville; brothers and sisters, Isaiah, Isaac, and Iris Huff; aunts and uncles, Karri and Shaun Streib, Cumming, Tara Donovan, Dawsonville, Penny and Roger Garrett, Dawsonville, Pam Biddulph, Dawsonville; a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Thursday June 23, 2016 at 2 o’clock at Pleasant Union Baptist Church. Rev. Josh Mulkey will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1pm until 8pm and Thursday until 1pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to help offset final expenses.
