Charlie R. Fleming, 89, of Ellijay passed away Friday April 15, 2016 at Gilmer Nursing Home following a period of declining health.
Born December 23, 1926 in Cherokee County to the late Cleve and Carrie Fleming, he lived most of his life in Gilmer County. Mr. Fleming was formerly employed by Gilmer Lumber Company.
Surviving are his son and daughter in law, Don and Janice Fleming, Dawsonville; grandchildren, Andrew, David, Casey and Destin.
Private funeral services were held and interment was in the Turniptown Baptist Church Cemetery.
